What's the difference between this and other filters?

TLDR
Flowy Filter is the ONLY bathroom sink filter safe to use in warm water.

 

Here's the science: Hot water should NEVER run through carbon filters (filters used by others). It will "off-load" previously trapped contaminants back into your water, potentially making your water more contaminated. 😵 But they won't tell you this or don't know the science behind it. We avoided carbon filters for this exact reason and designed our filters to be safe to use in warm water.

How long does each filter last?

TLDR
Usually 4 to 6 weeks. But it really depends on your water!

 

Technically, a single filter can last a few months if you happen to be the lucky few who have cleaner water. From our experience, if you live in older homes/buildings or get water from wells, you may need to replace your filters more frequently. A good sign to change your filter is when your filter turns brown or when you start to lose water pressure.

How much is the filter replacement?

What does the filter remove?

TLDR
Dirt, Microplastics, Rust, Bacteria, Heavy Metals, and Chlorine.

 

The Flowy filter was designed and tested to perform as effectively under high water temperatures. In the first stage, your water goes through a sediment filter which removes solid contaminants 10x smaller than a grain of sand. It will remove dirt, rust, bacteria, and heavy metals. Then, in the second stage, the water goes through a Vitamin C filter that neutralizes chlorine in your water.

Will the filter fit my faucet?

Our filter works with both hidden and exposed faucet aerators. If the provided adapters don’t fit, just fill out the form from the Installation QR code that comes with your Flowy Filter, and we’ll send a custom one right away. Can I drink this water?

TLDR
The Flowy Filter isn't designed for drinking. It's for washing your face and brushing your teeth.

 

Compared to drinking from your tap water, drinking from our filter will be much cleaner. However, our filters were not designed for drinking. For drinking water filters, we'd recommend other solutions specifically designed for drinking. Are the replacement filters recyclable?

Used filters should be disposed of as general trash after each use.
